OEM, Remanufactured, and Compatible

What do they mean?

OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. An OEM toner or ink cartridge is made by the same manufacturer who made your printer. For instance, an OEM toner cartridge for your Hewlett-Packard Laserjet printer is made by Hewlett-Packard

A remanufactured toner cartridge contains parts from cartridges that have previously been in service.

A compatible ink cartridge is one manufactured by a third party source, not the OEM.

MarksOnPaper is an environmentally conscious company. Each remanufactured cartridge we sells prevents 2.5 pounds of plastic from entering the US waste stream. In addition, using a remanufactured cartridge conserves approximately 3 quarts of oil used as fossil fuels in the manufacturing of a new cartridge!

All MarksOnPaper cartidges are independently tested by both the Rochester Institute of Technology and the Buyers Laboratory, Inc. and are guaranteed to be free from defects in both material and workmanship for a period of one year or until the ink is depleted...whichever occurs first.

We believe so strongly in the quality of our remanufactured and compatible products that we stand behind this guarantee. If a MarksOnPaper product is the sole cause of damage to your equipment, we will repair or replace the equipment at our expense.
